Threepohco, through our subsidiary, Gastronomy Ventures Pte Ltd, has been awarded an overseas franchise agreement with Killiney to bring the Killiney’s brand into Cambodia. This will be Killiney first overseas venture into Cambodia.
Killiney is a well-established brand with a history dating back to 1919, with a successful track record of delivering delicious breakfast sets of soft boiled eggs, kaya toasts and hot beverages to an ever increasing number of loyal customers.Killiney ventured overseas in 2001 and there are outlets spread all over Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and China.
The first Killiney outlet in Cambodia will be setup in Phnom Penh and this will be situated in one of the premises of Threepohco’s project, Lumiere Hotel. Recognised as one of the premier hotels in the region, Lumiere Hotel’s location in the central area of a thriving Phnom Penh will be strategic in attracting the crowds into Killiney. We see significant opportunities exist in the F&B sector due to Cambodia’s growing urban middle class, supplemented by a significant expatriate community.
There was a celebratory food and drinks event held at Killiney Exchange on 6th Sep. Our invited guests were treated to the food served by the Killiney Kitchen such as Killiney’s signature dishes which includes chicken curry, laksa and mee rubus. Following a presentation on Killiney’s expansion into Cambodia, our guests spent the evening understanding more about Killiney’s venture into Cambodia. Here are the photos taken from the event.
